CURRENT RATES
INITIAL CONSULTATIONS & ASSESSMENTS = $FREE when hired with signed contract on spot. If contract is not signed until after this initial meeting, a $50 fee is collected at end of meeting. [*Hourly rate is subject to change at the end of each year, at which time new rate will be posted.]
HOURLY RATES = $75 per hour for regular services in NYC, Hudson Valley, Connecticut and New Jersey.
There is NO minimum of hours, though SPM has never had a client for less than two hours in order to have something accomplished during a session. Therefore, two or more hours are almost always preferred by clients. Being that SPM is a green company, most clients keep in mind that the longer the session, the less a carbon footprint in commuting.
VIRTUAL ORGANIZING = $35 per hour for sessions via internet or phone. These sessions are offered through a prepaid plan before scheduling.
* SPECIAL NOTES
RATE MATCH - As a green company, SPM matches the written rates of other POs in cases where the logic of leaving less of a carbon footprint is something to consider. [If another PO's location is less convenient to a client, but rate is less expensive, this will be a consideration for SPM to match that rate.]
SLIDING SCALE - As a company providing skills of an Advanced Professional Organizer, SPM works with a sliding scale in order to provide specialized services to those in financial crisis. In order to be eligible for this special fee program, client must provide official written documents proving fixed income, unemployment, disability, bank records in order to determine best hourly or flat rate for specific projects. As with all privacy issues through organizing services provided by SPM, the information from such documents are safeguarded under the ICD and NAPO Codes of Ethics.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
SPM offers gift certificates in any denomination of $25 or more. These certificates are good for up to one year after purchase. Expiration dates are written on certificates.
PAYMENT & SAVINGS OPTIONS
SPM accepts cash or check on a SERVICES RENDERED policy and receipts/expense sheets are provided at each session to reflect services, as well as product purchases.
There is a choice of two special programs for payments. A client can choose the *Siesta Flash Card* - which is basically a frequent sessions card - to receive free hours of organizing services OR a $10 discount per session if paying cash.
Year-end statements are issued to all clients in early January with a full printout of all session dates/fees listed. This has always been particularly helpful for those able to use SPM business services for tax deductions.
REFERRALS
SPM has received many referrals over the years. As a thank you, a new program has been anchored giving those who refer services to SPM a check for $50 per signed contract.
24-HOURS NOTICE POLICY
In consideration for all clients, the 24-hours notice policy is set to that of the standard procedure of most medical offices. If needing to cancel a session in less than 24 hours a cancellation fee is set at a flat $50. This is to ensure that when one client needs to cancel, another client is offered that appointment.
